Who We Are

D&G POORductions consists of Dean Carl Shaffer (the "D") and Gay Lynne Carlson (the "G"). We are a couple dedicated to the advancment of accoustic based country and folk music (both "modern" and "traditional").

While we are physically based in San Diego, California, we believe in the power of the internet to promote music throught the world. The fact that Dean has music he promoted soley through the internet now being played on radio in Australia demonstrates this power.

Dean is a singer/songwriter with 35 years experience writing and singing folk and country music. He has performed in various venues in and around San Diego. More info can be found on Dean and his music on our artist page.

Gay has had many years experience with the "nuts and bolts" of office managment. She has also started and run her own successful buisness.

Together we form a strong and talented team who understand that "It All Begins with a Song"!
